Earth month at the Science Centre

Did you know that April is Earth Month at the Saskatchewan Science Centre? All month we are coordinating activities to help kids learn more about the earth, sustainability, nature, and our planet – all to coincide with Earth Day.

Starting tomorrow our regular weekend 2pm activities have an environmental theme. Families can create an ecosystem in a bottle this weekend, make silly “grassy heads” during Easter week when the kids are off school, and later in the month make bird feeders or rock collection boxes (and learn about rocks!).

These activities are free with admission to the Powerhouse of Discovery, and did you know members always get in free?

Find out more about our 2pm activities this month – and come on by!
